Qualification and Experience Requirements
Primary Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- BDS or equivalent Dental qualification recognized/registered by the Pakistan Medical Council.
- MDS (Pak), FCPS, or equivalent post-graduate qualification recognized/registered by the Pakistan Medical Council in the respective subjects.
- Experience:
- Teaching experience will be preferred.
- Credit will be given to original research work published in a standard Dental Medical Journal.
Alternative Qualifications
- For Candidates with Minor Postgraduate Diploma:
- BDS or equivalent Dental qualification registered/recognized by the Pakistan Medical Council.
- Postgraduate minor diploma in the respective subject recognized by the PMC.
- Three years of teaching experience as Demonstrator in a Dental Teaching Institution after the postgraduate qualification.
- Credit given for original research work published in standard Dental/Medical Journals.
- For Candidates without Postgraduate Qualification:
- BDS or equivalent Dental qualification registered/recognized by the Pakistan Medical Council.
- Ten years of teaching experience as Lecturer/Demonstrator in the relevant subject.
- At least three research papers published.
- Candidates with BDS qualification will be eligible only when candidates with postgraduate qualifications are not available.
